March 23:
Miss E's first prom was at B-D school with her boyfriend, G. She spent ALL DAY getting ready-but she was beautiful and had a lot of fun.
March 17:
We did her birthday stuff a day early. as it was going to be a busy Monday morning for her 16th birthday. We had a birthday meal at Chances R and she opened gifts in the afternoon. And, of course, there was cake for supper.
March 16:
9 am was the pre-conference shoot at our home trap house. E did not do well and was disappointed in herself, but it's ok. As long as she enjoys shooting, that's what counts.
March 15:
This was Fine Arts Night at the high school. Miss A had some art work on display from art class, then she performed a solo and a small group number. Miss E had a solo and a duet. I am very proud of the girls.
March 12 & 13:
Just some "normal" things. IC spent some time playing with the dogs and Miss A joined him. I got to snuggle with Maple and read my book for awhile. Maple is my snuggler, she comes to sit on my lap at night while I watch TV and she sleeps with me a good part of the night. There just isn't much time to do stuff like reading right now and I do miss the times when I was home with the kids and they were outside playing with the animals. It was nice to see them outside the window like they used to do when they were little.
March 9:
Saturday morning, we unloaded a very large load of cedar chip shavings for Miss E's cattle. Dad, IC, JJ, E and I all unloaded them in about 1 hr. 45 minutes. It went pretty smooth.
