Girl Time

Dec 20:

I had to take Miss E to the orthodontist, then we did a little shopping and eating out at Pizza Hut before going to get her hair done.

 Dec. 26:

I got to spend a little time with just the girls over Christmas break.  I took them to see the new Spiderman movie in York.  We don't get to hang out much anymore, so it was nice.

Christmas Day

 Dec. 25:

Christmas Day was spent at home.  The kids finally woke up about 9 am - the first time someone didn't get us up early on Christmas day!  We opened gifts, had a big dinner, spent the afternoon relaxing, and the evening doing the same.  It was a good day.

The girls even put their heads together to work on a 3D puzzle.  At least, they got along for the day!

Christmas Eve

Dec. 24:

Christmas Eve evening was spent at my parents' for supper and gifts.

 

Middle School Winter Concert

Dec. 16:

Miss E had her last middle school Winter concert and played percussion in the band, sang in Sound Sensations, and sang in the JH choir.

 

Wind Storm

Dec. 15:

We actually had a school cancellation in the middle of the last week of school before Christmas break because a wicked wind storm came blowing through that day and they were afraid the buses could blow over or kids get hurt because of it.

 

High School Winter Concert

 Dec 13:

The high school band/choir winter concert was good.  IC and Miss A played in the band and sang in the choir.

JH Basketball

Nov-Dec:

Miss E decided to play JH basketball this year.  She just played for fun and doesn't plan to play in high school.  She did pretty well.

 

18 Yrs Old!

Nov. 12:

IC's 18th birthday!  The family went out to eat at Chances "R" to celebrate.  We had dessert the next day.

 Nov:

Miss E's IT class made lamps and hers was using one of our old lanterns, IC and JJ visited UNL for college, and I was with the middle school kids when they went to the high school to watch the Veteran's Day performance and got to see Miss A and IC in the band.

One Act Theater & L St./Choir Dinner Concert

 Nov. 1:

The theater performance and dinner concert was on a Monday this year.  IC played guitar for the L St. band and sang in the choir performance.  Miss A was supposed to sing also, but ended up being too sick for school that day and didn't sing.
