Meet our newest babies:
These are American Buff geese. They are bigger than the ducks. We hatched them from eggs and are hoping we have at least 1 male and 1 female. We only had 3 out of seven eggs hatch-not the best odds but at least we have this many!

Easter
Sunday morning, the kids awoke to the Easter bunny coming to visit.
Then, it was time to go to church for Sunday School and Easter service.
After church, we waited an hour, then went to York to meet JJ's family for Easter Dinner at The Kitchen restaurant. By the time we got back to my in-laws house, it was 3:30. We took a few pictures at their request, had a little dessert, and then it was time to go home to do chores and clean up. After that, we headed to my parents' for Easter supper. The kids got a little something and we FINALLY got to sit down and relax a little before going home to go to bed!

Busy Saturday
Saturday turned out to be a nice day, as we headed to Aurora for IC's trap shoot. The wind played havoc, though, and he wasn't able to improve on his score.
After we got home, we got out the hard boiled eggs to do some egg dying. Majority vote was to do the tie-dying, so we did that and were done pretty quickly.
Another hour later, I took the girls to Fairmont to hunt Easter eggs. They were limited to 12 and were done really quickly.
After that, it was head home to do chores, eat supper and take the girls to the movie, Cinderella in town. It was a pretty good movie and they seemed to like it a lot.

Girl Scout Overnight
Thursday evening April 2, the Girl Scouts took an overnight trip to the Children's Museum in Lincoln. We stopped in York for supper at McDonald's, before going to a fun-filled evening. The girls started playing around 8 pm. They played on the main floor, had a snack, played on the top floor, had a craft, and played on the basement floor, had another activity, before FINALLY heading to lay out sleeping bags at 12:30 am! It took until 1 am to get the girls all settled and laying down and another hour before they finally started going to sleep! I didn't sleep well, but managed a bit of some before it was time to get up at 7 am. The girls got a short amount of play time, pick up stuff, and breakfast before it was time to leave at 8 am. They had a lot of fun!
