The last day of school at the middle school was the annual talent show during the last hour of school. Miss E sang a song with the 7/8th grade choir and played with the 7/8th grade band.
Miss A sent me this picture of her Spanish class on their last day of school:
May 15:
Senior pictures for IC on the farm, ball field, and in town. They turned out great!
April 30:
After a day of IC shooting at state trap, we came back for the high school spring concert. This was the high school concert band and concert choir. IC and Miss A both lettered in band, and Miss A lettered in choir. Miss A also gained a "special" award that was a for fun award. Miss A also had a duet for one of the choir songs. The band and choir sounded great!
April 27:
So, the first of 2 concerts of the week was the jazz band, Sound Sensations, L St. concert. IC had solos in 2 separate songs for the jazz band and sounded great! Miss E was in Sound Sensations and they performed 2 songs, and then the L St. performed. Unfortunately, the band was stuck behind the music backdrop for L. St, so that wasn't great.
April 26:
So, this is usually a banquet, but with the year, there was none of that this year, so it was an awards night instead. IC lettered in FBLA, and it's the last year for the business leader so she was honored. There were numerous awards presented-including IC's two awards for placing at the state convention. Then the officer positions were passed to the next year's candidates. IC was inducted as the president for the FBLA for next year.
