Lincoln Stars Game

 Mar. 4:

The L St. singers (including the band) got to sing the national anthem for the Lincoln Stars Hockey game.  The kids sounded great and our family had an enjoyable time with a pretty good game.  L St. hasn't gotten to sing the anthem for 2 years, due to Covid, so it was nice to see them out there on the ice again.

A New Used Vehicle

 Mar. 1:

Took Miss E out for a test drive (we drove, she's not legal yet) and was able to purchase her a vehicle for school.  She'll be getting her permit in a couple of weeks and will need something to drive me to and from the middle school.

Family Christmas

 Feb. 27:

After a rather lengthy delay, we finally had the Janing Christmas.  IC didn't stay long, as he had baseball practice, but got to spend some time with the family before he left.  The girls enjoyed being with the great grandgirls.  

Shopping with Miss A

Feb 25:

I have to take pictures when I can.  I took Miss A shopping one day after school for some "business appropriate " attire, as she has a job at the local bank and needed some dress clothes.  We had fun, except for there being very few places available to eat.  So, we ended up at McDonald's, but I still enjoyed being with her.

And off into the sunset, he's about ready to go.  It's not been an easy year, but this kid is going to go places, whether I am ready or not.  

E Volleyball

 Dec - Feb:

E decided to do another round of club volleyball.  The team started slow, only winning 1 set in their first tourny.  The 2nd tourny, they got 5th place.  The last tourny, they got runner-up!  They improved a lot and finally figured out how to work together and it was great to see.

 Jan. 20:

Just another school day, except that Miss A turned 16!  She had already gotten her driver's license renewed, so she was ready to roll that morning.

We had to do cake at a later time due to all the crazy, busy games and activities going on.  We finally took her out to eat to Chances R on Jan 30 and had cake afterwards.

Shopping With Teens and E's First Middle School Dance

 Jan. 3:

This is what it is like to take 2 of your 3 teenagers shopping.  IC needed some jeans and Miss E was looking for a dress for her first middle school dance.

Jan. 7:

Miss E's dress that she found for the dance.  Her date and his parents took her, JJ, and I to the mexican restaurant in town before the dance. No, they are not dating.
