First Day of School

Believe it or not, E bunny got the stomach flu the night of open house.  I spent all night up with her.  So, I could only send IC and Miss A to school for the first day.

E recovered and was ready to go to school the next day.  So, yes, I made the other 2 pose again for school day.  IC is in 6th grade, Miss A is in 4th grade, and E bunny is in 2nd grade.

Meet The Newest Family Member!

Meet Gizmo!  IC and I went to go meet a friend on Sunday, August 9, who helped us get our newest family member!  Gizmo is a Flemish Giant, not a year old yet, who is going to be a new show rabbit for IC.

Time to Head Home Friday

We checked out on Friday and headed back towards home.  We stopped in Kearney to do school shopping for IC at Walmart and the mall.  Then we went to the Big Apple Fun Center.  We went JUST to play laser tag.  We decided we didn't want to bowl again!  All of us played laser tag and had a lot of fun!

After that, it was time to head home to unpack and do chores-back to the grindstone again.

Vacation Thursday

Thursday, the 6th, we went to the Lincoln County Historical Museum.  They had a lot of stuff and several buildings to walk through.  The kids and us parents really enjoyed it.

After dinner, we went to Buffalo Bill's Scout Rest Ranch.

It was definitely time to head back to the hotel after our sightseeing. We went to Wild Bill's Wings and Bowling.  Good food, but terrible bowling.  The bumper's wouldn't go up when they were supposed to, so the people kept moving us to the next lane.  When we finally got a lane to work, then the bowling ball and/or pins would get jammed and the return wouldn't work.  The kids had much more fun in the arcade than with bowling!
