Look out, world, the babies have their eyes open! At 11 days, all but one baby has it's eyes open. Won't be long before they are jumping out of the nest!

Family Birthday Party
Sunday, April 3:
We had E's family birthday party at the children's zoo this year. We met nearly everyone at 1:30 to tour the zoo. At 2:30 was our time slot in the Critter House. We had cake and ice cream and opened gifts. Then, Bullwinkle, the chinchilla, came to visit us. After that, we finished touring the zoo, rode the train, and then we were done! We headed home and E said she had an awesome birthday this year!

Conference Shoot and some Birthday Fun!
Saturday, April 2:
Much nicer day for shooting, but pretty windy. The girls had to come along this time, which didn't thrill them much.
The day turned out really nice. In the evening, Miss A had a party to go to for a classmate at the theater and so did E! We just invited 5 girls to watch the movie with us, so we opened gifts outside before it was time to get in line for the movie. The girls were silly and loud, but they had fun.
JJ and I chaperoned from behind the girls and they enjoyed the movie, Zootopia.

Happy Easter!
Sunday, Easter morning, March 27:
We didn't have the best start to Easter morning, but it all worked out. After church, we went home to see what the Easter bunny left, and dye Easter eggs for dinner before going to my in-law's. After dinner, which was late anyway, we didn't stay too long, and headed home.
At chore time, I got pictures of our NEWEST ADDITIONS to our bunny family:
This is Charlotte. She's a blue tort Holland Lop and hopefully, will be a good show bunny. She's 7 weeks old and E's bunny.
This is Lola, E bunny's other new bunny. She a Red-Eyed White (REW) Mini Lop and very sweet!
This is Turbo. I surprised IC with an English Lop from the ARBA show. He's almost a year and sweet, also.
This is Marshmellow. Miss A's new Mini Rex doe. She's also a red-eyed white.
This is Licorice. He is Miss A's other new mini rex. He was supposed to be a doe, but he turned out to be a buck! He's really sweet and she loves him. She got these 2 new mini-rex's in exchange for Katrina. Katrina we had bought from a gal. She is an awesome brood doe. Has very pretty babies. She, though, is not the prettiest show bunny. So, her former owner looked at her and offered to trade these 2 mini rex's for her. We have asked to get a doe sometime out of Katrina for showing. Miss A is happy with her trade and Rachel, the gal we've been working with for mini-rex's, already has Katrina bred!
This is our additions that showed up Good Friday. Our Flemish Giant doe, Chevy, had 6 new babies-2 light grey and 3 steel (dark grey) and 1 a grey shade in between those 2 colors. Pretty exciting, and yes, all of our cages are full right now!
