Besides our many activities, we are fully in ball-Baseball and Softball. IC is in the 12 and under baseball. Although his team isn't doing the best, it's a young team and they have a little ways to go in experience. 12 and under baseball is much more serious than 9 and under. It has been a learning experience.
Miss A is on the same Flash team as last year-8 and under travel softball. They have 22 girls-they weren't able to split the team in time to have 2 teams. So, the girls play double headers anyway. Miss A is on 1st team and they have been doing well. The 2nd team is less experienced and most of them are younger, so they haven't done as well, but the girls are mostly having fun.
E Bunny is in the 8 and under slight travel softball team. These girls have very little experience but have had 4 actual games and get to have 1 more to end their season this week.
Only 2 more weeks until June is over-which means ball is over, then, also. IC has 2 games this week, Miss A has 1 game this week, and E bunny has a final game Friday. Next week, IC has a regular game and then it's tournament time at the end of the week. Miss A has her tournament on Sunday and a final game next Wednesday. Busy times!

Clover Kids Adventure
Tuesday morning, the girls headed to town for their Clover Kid activity morning for 4-H. They did some cooking and taste-testing of different foods and had a pretty good time.
IC's Busy Day
Monday, June 9, started with the threat of rain, but it stayed dry, so I took IC into town by 9 am for the Husker Baseball camp. IC learned a lot and had a pretty good time. At least, it wasn't so hot.
Right after baseball camp, he went to basketball camp. This Basketball Academy lasted from Monday-Thursday for 2 hours everyday and although he was tired by the end of the week, he enjoyed this camp, too.

Sonshine Camp
I took the girls to Sonshine camp at Camp Fontanelle this year. Even though E bunny was a little young, I took her with Miss A since I didn't want to try to fit another camp into my already busy schedule. So, the girls and I left on Friday, June 6, did a couple of errands in Lincoln and then headed to camp. We played in the pool several times, played camp games, sang songs and had worship by the campfire, jumped on the jumping pillow, visited the nearby farm to see the animals and ride a pony, watched part of the Frozen movie outside (while getting eaten alive by mosquitos), made some crafts, cooked hot dogs and smores over the campfire, and took a hike. I even got the chance to go on the new zipline! The girls had a lot of fun and we were all exhausted for the drive home on Sunday afternoon!
