Girls Shopping Trip
Christmas Day
Dec. 25:
The bonus of teenagers is that they don't get up at 6 am to open gifts. Instead, it was almost 10 before we got to it. It was snowing, so we spent the day inside as much as possible.
Christmas Eve
Dec. 24:
After Christmas Eve service, we went to my parents' for Christmas. After supper was a simple gift-giving and we were not able to stay as long because JJ had to check heifers and get things set up since it was supposed to snow the next day.

Christmas Music Concert
Dec. 11:
Christmas 7-12 Music concert. Miss E played in band and sang in the choir. Miss A had a beautiful solo for "Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas," and sang in the choir. We are starting to have some "lasts" for Miss A. This was her last high school Christmas program.
Weekend Happenings
Dec 9:
Miss A at her bank Christmas party with a co-worker.
Steer Selfie
Dec. 4:
Miss E had to have some horns removed from one of her show steers-and then she removed the stitches at home. So, of course, there had to be a selfie taken with said steer. Goofball.
Always Sleeping, I Swear
Nov. 28:
After appointments at the dentist, this is what the girls do-EVERY TIME on the way home. Actually, most of our trips home from Lincoln end up this way-me driving and the girls sleeping. Thought they would eventually outgrow that, but I guess not.
First Snow
Nov. 25:
Our first snowfall for the season. It didn't accumulate much and it didn't last long, but those big snowflakes made their appearance regardless.
Thanksgiving
Nov. 23:
Thanksgiving did not go as planned this year. I got Covid the week of Thanksgiving, but luckily, only missed 2 days of work. Unfortunately, we had to cancel plans to have a nice family meal for dinner and to visit my parents for supper. Instead, I made our meal (wearing a mask and washing my hands often), and sent a portion of it with IC to eat with F. She's not had Covid, so we didn't want to expose her any more than necessary. IC and F appreciated the meal and sent back the dishes the next day empty. I basically stayed away from people as much as possible and while no one else got it, Miss A ended up with a sinus infection from a different respiratory ailment that week. When it rains, it pours!
Dogs and the Cone of Shame
Nov 18 & 21:
IC & his girl brought her dog to visit the farm. Eric decided to be very protective of IC, so he did not play with our 2 dogs like he did in the past. The 21st was when Tucker got the snip and had to wear the cone of shame. It was rather annoying, as he kept running it into EVERYTHING all over the place. He ended up not wearing it for very long, but he did fine and didn't overly bother his stitches, so it all worked out.
Happy Birthday!
Nov. 12:
IC turned 20 on the 12th, so we met him and his girlfriend in Lincoln at Texas Roadhouse for a very nice birthday meal. Afterward, they went to do their own activities.
