Last Day of School

 May 20: Last day of school.  Miss E was my last kid to put her handprint on the wall.  Always a sign of a graduated FC 8th grader.  Had a last day of school pic with her and one with my co-workers.  After the talent show, there was a dance party on the gym floor before it was time to dismiss the kids.  And Miss E said goodbye to her favorite teacher.

In the evening, was a fun shoot and potluck for the trap kids, and a goodbye was said to long-time coach, Ron.  Miss E had fun with friends and shot with Miss A on the line.

8th Grade Graduation

May 19:  E's 8th grade Graduation day.  Before graduation, we had several girls, including Miss E, take over the para room to get ready, as there were too many girls (it's a really big class) to fit in the girls locker room.

Middle School Fun Day

 May 18:  New fun day for the middle school kids.  They rotated through games and seemed to have a pretty good time.

Middle School Spring Concert

 May 10:  Miss E's last Jr. High concert.  She sang in the choir and had a solo and performed in the band.

Golf Pro

May 9:  IC joined the school's golf team this year.  For someone who didn't like golf, he did a 180 and loves it now.  I finally made it to a golf meet-his last one, actually.  Not one of his better meets, but I got to see him play and that's what counted.  He also decided to golf at our local golf course this summer with 3 other of his classmates/golf teammates.

 

Graduation Day

May 7:  IC's Graduation ceremony started with the class video.

After the ceremony, we had IC's party.  It was good, but a long day.
