Aug. 31:
Marching Band at the State Fair. IC and Miss A went. The Jr. High kids weren't allowed to go because of the covid outbreak at the middle school, so Miss E wasn't able to go, unfortunately.
Aug 28-29:
State Fair activities included Miss E getting a purple and special recognition for her diorama, Miss E waiting in line forever to do rabbit showmanship, and the girls spending a lot of time waiting to show their rabbits and then having to show them all at once. Miss E ended up with best of opposite for her mini lop, which the judges liked and Miss A ended up with a couple of mini rexes that were also liked by the judge. And the girls got to play in the pool a bit the night before the show at the hotel, which they enjoyed.
Aug. 12:
First day of school for the kids. IC's final year. 12th grade. Hard to believe.
Miss A's sophomore year. A few months away from a driver's license.
Miss E's final year of middle school. The baby's in 8th grade.
And me, my first year as a full-time para at the middle school.
